Similar to the 2009 CES Innovations Award Wining Scosche passPORT for car integration systems, the passPORT Home Dock was specifically designed to fix the charging error associated with several iPod docking stations and enables charging for the iPhone 3G, iPod touch Gen 2, and iPod nano Gen 4.

The Scosche passPORT Home Dock is a “Made for iPod” certified product, and is compatible with most docking stations that have a universal dock.  One of the coolest features of the passPORT is that it accepts the inserts that are included with every iPod to ensure a snug fit.  The passPORT passes through all audio, video and data functionality.  However, if the iPod dock does not initially support the audio or video functionality, the passPORT will not enable these features. Each passPORT Home dock comes with the dock adapter for the BOSE SoundDock I units.
